About Delhivery

Delhivery started in 2011 as a hyperlocal delivery service in Gurugram and grew into one of India's biggest third-party logistics companies, serving the vast majority of the country's pin codes through a network of sortation centers, gateways, and last-mile hubs. It went public on the NSE/BSE in 2022 and is best known as the backbone behind a huge share of India's e-commerce shipments — when you order from a marketplace and the seller doesn't use the platform's own courier, Delhivery is often the one that picks up, sorts, and delivers it.

A typical Delhivery parcel is collected from a seller or warehouse, routed through a regional sortation hub, line-hauled to the destination city's facility, and then handed to a local delivery executive for the final leg. Each consignment travels under a waybill (AWB) number, which is what you and the seller use to follow its journey from "manifested" all the way to "delivered."

Delhivery tracking number format: Delhivery shipments travel under a waybill (AWB) number, usually an 11-to-14-digit numeric string. Sellers may also share an order or reference ID, but the AWB is what the Delhivery tracker accepts.

Where this carrier fits

What a regional carrier handles

Regional and last-mile carriers specialise in a country or area, frequently picking up where a larger network or marketplace leaves off.

Last-mile delivery

They often handle just the final leg to your door after a marketplace or partner network moves the parcel into the region.

Focused coverage area

Deep coverage in their home country or region means dense scans locally and fewer once a parcel leaves that area.

Marketplace volume

Much of their work is e-commerce, so tracking numbers commonly arrive straight from a store rather than the carrier.

Lockers & pickup points

Many offer parcel lockers or pickup points as an alternative to a doorstep delivery attempt.

Two ways to track Delhivery

Either method works. Parceler is faster when you order from multiple carriers and want one timeline for everything.

Option A · Carrier site

Track on Delhivery.com

  1. 1. Find your waybill (AWB) number — it's in your order confirmation, shipping email, or the SMS Delhivery sends when your parcel is picked up.
  2. 2. Go to delhivery.com and open the 'Track' option in the top menu (or use the package tracking box on the homepage).
  3. 3. Enter your AWB/waybill number in the track box and submit to pull up the latest scan and status.
  4. 4. Read the status timeline — it shows each scan, such as manifested, in transit, out for delivery, and delivered, with location and timestamp.
  5. 5. If you're juggling parcels from several carriers, paste the same number into Parceler to follow Delhivery alongside your other shipments in one place.
Option B · Parceler (recommended)

Track on Parceler

  1. 1. Paste your Delhivery number above. No sign-up.
  2. 2. Parceler auto-detects the carrier — no dropdown to pick from.
  3. 3. See every scan event, location, and timestamp on a single timeline.
  4. 4. Optionally subscribe to push or email alerts for status changes.

Parceler vs. Delhivery's native tracking

The carrier's own site shows the data they own. Parceler unifies every leg — including the partner handoff at the border — and adds tools the carrier doesn't.

FAQ

Delhivery tracking — questions answered

It's the waybill (AWB) number assigned to your shipment — typically an 11-to-14-digit numeric code. Your seller or marketplace usually shares it by email or SMS once the parcel is picked up. An order ID from the shop is not the same thing; the AWB is what the Delhivery tracker reads.
